Use the following to help you determine the grade for the webpage you are assigned to evaluate:

I. TEXT (3 points possible)

3 Points - Two paragraphs of text that accurate explain the assigned concept, with minor or no factual errors. Text is not simply cut and pasted from other websites.
2 Points - At least one paragraph of text that accurate explains the assigned concept, and/or some meaningful factual errors.
1 Point - A minimal amount of text explaining the assigned concept, and/or many major factual errors.
0 Points - No text.

II. PICTURE OR GRAPH OR CHART (3 points possible)

3 Points - Website has a picture OR graph OR chart that is viewable on the webpage itself (not a link to picture, etc.) The picture/graph/chart is illustrative of the concept assigned. If the connection between the concept and the picture/graph/chart is unclear, text underneath the picture clearly explains the connection.
2 Points - Website has a picture/graph/chart, but it is a link to another website (i.e., not on the Wiki page itself), or the connection between the picture/graph/chart and the assigned concept is tenuous or unclear.
1 Point - Website has a picture/graph/chart, but it is totally unrelated to the concept assigned.
0 Points - No picture/graph/chart.

III. VIDEO (3 points possible)

3 Points - Website has a video that is viewable on the webpage itself (not a link to video, etc.) The video is illustrative of the concept assigned. If the connection between the concept and the video is unclear, text underneath the video clearly explains the connection.
2 Points - Website has a video, but it is a link to another website (i.e., not on the Wiki page itself), or the connection between the video and the assigned concept is tenuous or unclear.
1 Point - Website has a video, but it is totally unrelated to the concept assigned.
0 Points - No video.

IV. LINKS TO OTHER WEBSITES (3 points possible)

3 Points - The website has at least 3 links to other websites that help to explain the assigned concept. The links work (are not broken) and are directly related to the concept assigned.
2 Points - The website has at least 2 links to other websites that help to explain the assigned concept. The links work (are not broken) and are directly related to the concept assigned.
1 Point - The website has at least 1 link to another website that help to explain the assigned concept. The link works (is not broken) and is directly related to the concept assigned.
0 Points - No links.

V. SAMPLE PROBLEM WITH ANSWER (3 points possible)

3 Points - The webpage includes a sample problem (multiple choice, fill in the blank, short response, etc.) that tests the concept assigned. The sample problem is well thought out, of the appropriate difficulty, and answerable given the information presented on the webpage. An answer to the question is provided, and is correct.
2 Points - The wepage includes a sample problem, but the problem does a poor job of testing the concept assigned, or cannot be answered given the information presented on the webpage OR the answer provided is incorrect or only partially correct.
1 Point - The webpage includes a sample problem, but no sample answer.
0 Points - No sample problem or answer.
